THE SPEAKER OF THE KWAZULU-NATAL LEGISLATURE, HON. NONTEMBEKO BOYCE, ACCOMPANIED BY CHAIRPERSON OF COMMITTEES, HON. MAHLABA AND CHIEF WHIP, HON. GWALA, HELD A FRUITFUL ENGAGEMENT WITH REPRESENTATIVES OF THE EMBASSY OF FRANCE IN SOUTH AFRICA, LESOTHO, AND MALAWI.
The Speaker of the KwaZulu-Natal Legislature, Hon. Nontembeko Boyce, accompanied by Chairperson of Committees, Hon. Mahlaba and Chief Whip, Hon. Gwala, held a fruitful engagement with representatives of the Embassy of France in South Africa, Lesotho, and Malawi.
The French delegation was represented by Mr. Tristan Roussignol-Retif, Political Counsellor, and Mr. Antoine Moisson, Economic Counsellor. The meeting, which took place in Durban, aimed to deepen bilateral relations and foster greater cooperation between the KwaZulu-Natal Legislature and the French government.
This engagement marks a significant step toward building mutual understanding and exploring opportunities for collaboration in various oversight programmes of the KZN Legislature, as well as promoting cultural exchange between the two countries.
