The Information and Communication Technology Unit is entrusted with the function of digitally enabling the legislature in fulfilling its legislative mandate. It ensures that digital technologies are deployed in such a way that they enable members and officials to perform their functions effectively and efficiently. Furthermore, the unit enables digital access and digital participation of citizens and external stakeholders to the legislature. In provision and management of ICT services, the unit has aligned with globally accepted ICT industry standards such as ITIL – The Information Technology Infrastructure Library and COBIT – Control Objectives for Information and Related Technologies.
