THE DEPUTY SPEAKER OF THE KWAZULU-NATAL LEGISLATURE, HON. MMABATHO TEMBE, HON. ANDILE BIYELA AND HON. MINGEZI TWALA HAVE ARRIVED IN BEIJING, CHINA, TO PARTICIPATE IN A HIGH-LEVEL SEMINAR FOCUSED ON THE EXCHANGE OF EXPERIENCES ON MODERNIZING NATIONAL GOVERNANCE AND PROFESSIONALIZATION OF THE STATE BETWEEN CHINA AND SOUTH AFRICA.
The Deputy Speaker of the KwaZulu-Natal Legislature, Hon. Mmabatho Tembe, Hon. Andile Biyela and Hon. Mingezi Twala have arrived in Beijing, China, to participate in a high-level seminar focused on the Exchange of Experiences on Modernizing National Governance and Professionalization of the State between China and South Africa.
This strategic initiative forms part of the partnership between the KwaZulu-Natal Legislature and South Africa’s National School of Government (NSG), which recently formalized collaboration through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The seminar, scheduled to run from 7 May to 27 May 2025, will provide a platform for in-depth dialogue on governance innovation, state capacity enhancement, and best practices in public sector professionalism. It signifies a key milestone in deepening bilateral relations and enhancing institutional development through international cooperation.
