TAKING LEGISLATURE TO THE PEOPLE PROGRAMME UNDERWAY AT UGU SPORTS AND LEISURE CENTRE IN RAY NKONYENI MUNICIPALITY UNDER UGU DISTRICT

KZN Legislature is holding a two day-sitting from 02 to 03 November at Ugu Sports and Leisure Centre in Ray Nkonyeni Municipality as part of its annual public participation programme of Taking Legislature to the People. The programme which is being attended by Members of the Legislature (MPLs), Members of the Executive Council (MECs), Provincial Government Departments, Councilors, Amakhosi and community members.

The Multiparty Delegation Visits in Ugu District Report was tabled on the first day of the TLTP and members of the public were given an opportunity to engage with MECs on service delivery issues raised in the report and were provided with responses on the departmental plans to address them.

On the second day of the TLTP, the Legislature is holding a sitting to debate the Multiparty report which will be adopted for implementation by the provincial government to accelerate service delivery to communities of Ugu District.
