DEPUTY SPEAKER SSR PROGRAMME
As part of ongoing efforts to foster a culture of reading among young learners, the Deputy Speaker of the KwaZulu-Natal Legislature, Hon. Mmabatho Tembe, visited Sithunjwana Primary School in eMpendle today.
During her visit, Hon. Tembe donated a variety of library books and educational puzzles to the school, fulfilling a promise she made during the KZN Legislature’s School Functionality Programme earlier this year.
Sithunjwana Primary School was among the schools visited by the Deputy Speaker during the school functionality programme, which aims to support and enhance the quality of education across the province. Hon. Tembe’s return marks a continued commitment to improving literacy and learning resources in under-resourced schools.
