Constituency Offices are the ‘structural outreach’ avenues of the sector, and are intended to be powerful vehicles for bringing about interaction between MPLs and their constituencies. These offices serve to bridge the divide between the legislature and the people.
They play a critical role in communicating the programmes of government, and to hear concerns that the public has on the delivery of services by government institutions.
These are utilised by public representatives to:
- Channel information on legislative processes to communities they serve;
- and Facilitate community input into relevant processes.
